There is a lot to be said for Southern California fishing and for good reason. There happens to be a lot of different ways to fish Southern California, and although Socal may not have quite as many options as its Northern California counterpart, it certainly holds its own.

This has a lot to do with the great ocean fishing of Southern California along with the Baja California regions that are usually included in most Socal fishing reports. There are obviously going to be different reports for freshwater and saltwater fishing in Southern California. Some of the things to look for in Freshwater reports should include Bass fishing.
